Dean Musser has worked for over 30 years as a professional musician. He has primarily performed as a solo guitarist. In addition, he has individually taught over 3000 people how to play guitar, including Jon Kabbash, winner of the 2004 North American Rock Guitar Competition, and Kevin Collier, lead guitarist for Buddy Jewell. Dean plays a variety of guitars, including some of his own design, as well as bass and mandolin. He has composed over 500 songs.
Mary Baldwin has played guitar for 25 years, including 12 under the tutelage of Dean Musser. She has sung in choirs since the age of 10. In addition to music, she has pursued an interest in art, primarily oil painting. Mary has a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry, and has worked as a chemist, a doula, and a caterer. Her primary job of nurturing four daughters has made her imminently qualified to work with musicians.
In May of 2004, Dean and Mary collaborated to form Any Dream Music, with Dean as the primary performer and Mary as the publisher and producer. They work out of Any Dream Studio in Earlysville, Virginia. While Dean has performed solo and in a variety of ensembles, the music they have produced at Any Dream is the first true representation of his artistic voice. Any Dream has provided Mary with a place to use all she has learned in her eclectic background. Achieving artistic expression is the founding principal of Any Dream Music.
